I’m Elaine Felicity

The Early Readers Club was born out of both my personal journey as a mother of four and my professional experience in education.
When my children were little, I quickly realised that early literacy isn’t about drilling flashcards or rushing to meet milestones—it’s about weaving words, sounds, and stories into the rhythm of everyday life.

As a parent, I felt the same worries many of you have:
Am I doing enough? Am I doing it right?

That’s why I started Early Readers Club—to support parents like you in creating a literacy-rich environment at home, without the overwhelm.

My Expertise

I bring over 20 years of experience in the education sector,
alongside hands-on parenting.

Along the way, I’ve trained and worked in multiple fields that all shape how I guide families today:

  • Certified Phonics and Early Years Grammar Instructor

  • Trained Parenting Coach, equipping families with practical, positive strategies

  • Social Work trained, with a deep understanding of family dynamics and child development

This unique mix allows me to bring both expertise and
empathy when helping parents raise confident, happy readers.

My mission is simple:

to empower parents of children ages 0–8 to nurture lifelong readers through playful, practical, and research-backed strategies.

I believe every parent, regardless of background or teaching experience, can give their child the gift of literacy—and enjoy the process along the way.

I envision a world where every child grows up surrounded by stories, sounds, and encouragement.

Where parents feel confident guiding their child’s reading journey, and children proudly say, “I am a reader.” At Early Readers Club, it’s not just about teaching children to read—it’s about building joyful family connections and lifelong confidence through the power of words.
